The goal of The Station Inn is to provide comfortable accommodations for rail enthusiasts. The Station Inn has five two-room suites upstairs. Downstairs there is a large three room suite and two smaller, single rooms. All rooms have private baths. Desks, reading lamps and Keurig coffee makers are provided. Comfortably bright reading lamps are bedside for those who read in bed before retiring.
The Station Inn is a different kind of B&B. Close to a busy railroad, our inn offers a different escape from everyday distractions. The Station Inn is not air conditioned. Ceiling and oscillating fans in all rooms.
A family style breakfast is served daily. Pancakes, omelets, sausage gravy on toast, baked oatmeal, pork roll with egg and cheese are our basic eye-openers. Always at breakfast:…… fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee, decaf, and seven varieties of tea. Also: English muffins, breakfast pastry, Sandy’s jam of the day, and a wide variety of cold cereal. Your tea is served in a genuine B&O teapot!
On hand: complimentary soft drinks and spring water. Bottomless cookie jar and fresh fruit bowl. We accommodate the needs of restricted foods dieters, weight loss dieters, and others with special dietary needs. Please advise us in advance of dietary restrictions.
The Station Inn neither serves nor sells alcoholic beverages. However, registered guests are welcome to enjoy personal beverages they have purchased. There are numerous outlets nearby. Cresson has an open container law; alcoholic beverages may not be consumed while on the sidewalk or in the garden.
The Station Inn is unable to accommodate youngsters under the age of eight.
