Cresson Nocturne

Listen to a little bit of audio recorded by frequent guest Lou Capwell, of a summer evening on the front porch of The Inn.

Says Lou:

The second night I was there, [RJ] Corman was headed south with empty grain cars from Clearfield, and I thought it might be fun to get out the digital audio recorder and record some whistle tooting from the porch as the train came through town and onto the main. What I got instead, was Corman showing up, then a massive eastbound stack train passing the consist, then its helpers, all set against the backdrop of an approaching thunderstorm, local kids on skateboards, and eventually some loud rain.
